“We’re not one-box issue people”: Intersectional perspectives on LGBTQ+ mental health in schools: A UK qualitative study with students, staff and training providers.”

This UK-based study explores how LGBTQ+ students with intersecting marginalised identities (such as race, disability, or socioeconomic status) experience school. The research highlights that these students often face unique challenges, including discrimination and a lack of support, which can negatively impact their mental health. The study emphasizes the need for schools to adopt intersectional approaches in their policies and practices to better support the diverse needs of LGBTQ+ students.
